Institute of Translational Health Sciences

The Institute of Translational Health Sciences (ITHS) is a research organization focused on increasing the speed and quality of translational science, so that research discoveries are more efficiently and effectively integrated into health practice. ITHS offers funds for novel, innovative, and collaborative translational and clinical research. We also engage in collaborative partnerships with non-ITHS programs that provide funding for more targeted research opportunities.

Montana INBRE is a statewide network of Ph.D.-granting institutions, baccalaureate schools and community and tribal colleges that invests in Montana's biomedical research capacity and workforce pipeline.

Incentive Program for Researchers

The MSU Incentive Program for Researchers has been developed to enhance sponsored research and
scholarly activities. By providing the opportunity for tenured and tenure track faculty to be eligible for
annual incentive payments, the program provides incentives for faculty to secure externally-funded
research grants and contracts. The program is in addition to and complements existing summer salary
policies and procedures for Academic Year (AY) faculty.
