We are pleased to offer you the new Blended Course Toolkit in Brightspace designed by Ken Silvestri. This resource is available to MSU faculty and will help you design and teach an effective blended course. The toolkit is divided into three key areas associated with teaching a blended course:

  • Blended Course Planning & Organization
  • Communicating Expectations & Supporting Student Success
  • Technologies & Tools for Teaching Blended Courses
  • Sharing and discussion space

How to access the Blended Course Toolkit in Brightspace:

  1. Go to your Brightspace homepage
  2. Click the Discover button in the blue banner at the top of the page
  3. You will see the Blended Course Toolkit under the heading New
  4. Enroll in the course from there
  5. Access the tutorial on how to use the Blended Course Toolkit here
