The Bike & Ski shop offers assisted and do it yourself tune-ups, waxing and equipment maintenance for bikes, skis and boards. Learn to care for your gear, so you can spend more time playing.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Bike & Ski Shop including use of the space, the tools and technician assistance are free to all students with a membership to the Student Wellness Center. Many common repair items are on-hand and available for purchase.

There are four stations for DIY bike repair. These stations include tire pump with both Schrader and Presta valves, Allen wrenches, adjustable wrench, pedal wrenches and screwdrivers.

There are four stations for DIY ski and snowboard repair and maintenance. These stations include workbenches with tuning vice, waxing iron, scraping tools and P-Tex guns for base repair.

Policies

  • Users must check in upon arrival.
  • Bikes and skis MUST NOT be left in the shop unattended for any period. 
  • Tools must remain in the bike and ski shop. 
  • Users are responsible for mounting, adjusting, or repairing any ski bindings. Bike and ski shop staff will not adjust bindings. 
  • Users must share the space with others and follow reasonable time limits on equipment, etc.  
  • Users should consult with a staff technician for assistance.
