This session will cover topics such as the appropriate time to apply to graduate school, selecting a good reference, and writing a statement of purpose. We will cover aspects of what it means to be 'funded' and how to secure a faculty advisor for programs that require this as part of the application process. There will be an opportunity during the second half to ask questions to various MSU offices' representatives to learn their thoughts and insights.
