Cascade County Extension will host a free gardening seminar focused on Montana landscapes, beneficial bugs, eco-friendly gardens, and water-wise plants on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Great Falls College MSU, Room 1500. The seminar will begin at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be provided.

“I am excited to host both Abi and Sarah to Cascade County,” said Rose Malisani, MSU Extension–Cascade County Agent. “Both speakers bring an array of knowledge—from pollinators to trees and shrubs that will benefit gardeners at every level.”
The seminar will highlight practical strategies for gardening in Montana’s unique climate, including supporting beneficial insects, selecting native and drought-tolerant plants, conserving water, and creating environmentally responsible landscapes.
