Montana Math Circle is a math enrichment club open to all ambitious middle and high school students interested in advanced mathematices and eager to learn beyond the classroom. Montana Math Circle is a program of the Science Math Resource Center, the MSU Department of Education, and is sponsored in part by the American Mathematical Society.

 

Math Circle Summer Camp

An in-person camp on the MSU campus for students entering 6th-9th grade (Fall 2024). Explore advanced mathematical concepts through problem-solving, engaging STEM activities, and university lab tours

American Mathematics Competitions

The American Mathematics Competition is developed annually by the Mathematical Association of America. SMRC hosts these competitions for Montana middle and high school students, administering them in-person on the MSU-Bozeman campus. Students interested in advanced math, national-level testing, and connecting with fellow math enthusiasts are encouraged to participate. Registration fees are covered, and our staff proctors the exam.
