Yvonne Rudman
Industry liaison at Montana State University TechLink, previous director of international partnerships and grants in the Office of International Programs
Yvonne Rudman worked 17 years as director of international partnerships and grants in the Office of International Programs and is now industry liaison at Montana State University TechLink. In 2011, as a result of her own experience with work-related sexual harassment, she was instrumental in starting the women’s task force. This task force evolved into the President’s Commission on the Status of University Women, where she sat on the executive committee as the recent chair of the communications subcommittee. In addition to this pioneering work, Rudman has had an enormous impact on MSU in her 17-year career as director of international partnerships and grants in the Office of International Programs. Her global savvy has created cross-cultural experiences for thousands of students, particularly in programs like her Institute for International Education (IIE) award-winning U.S. Arabic Distance Learning Network. She has led academic grant-funded study abroad programs in Egypt and Morocco. She designed and facilitated international internship programs for Native American students at nongovernmental environmental organizations in Australia and New Zealand. These and other projects have brought over $8 million dollars in grant funds to MSU and served to build strong institutional partnerships.
Yvonne Rudman is a champion for women and has inspired students from varied backgrounds, especially Native American students, to expand their experience with international internships.
