Tricia Bader Binford

Tricia Bader Binford is the winningest coach in Montana State University women's basketball coaching history. From 2015-2018 alone, her teams broke 24 records. Her team's successes occurred, most impressively, alongside valuing academics, community service and family. During the 2016-17 season, she led the Bobcats to the Big Sky championship and its first NCAA championship tournament appearance since 1993. They recorded 25 victories, the most in school history. In her 13 years, Binford has produced: 89 Big Sky All-Academic honorees, 30 Big Sky Players of the Week, 23 All-Big Sky performers, one Two-Time Academic All-America, five CoSIDA Academic All District VII recipients, two Big Sky MVPs, two Big Sky Defensive Players of the Year, two Big Sky Newcomers of the Year, one Big Sky Freshman of the Year, two Big Sky Top Reserves of the Year, one All-America honorable mention in 2012, and four MSU/Big Sky Female Scholar Athletes of the Year. Other accomplishments include being inducted in the Colorado High School Hall of Fame, guiding Boise State to the National March Madness tournament as a player in college, playing professionally when she was drafted in the 1998 Women's National Basketball Association draft, all before entering the world of coaching.

Being a mom, wife, sister, teacher, coach, co-worker, and more, Coach Tricia Binford composes her roles with…persistence and faith that impact many. She is a great ambassador for the sport, university and women.
