Cass (Bauer) Bilodeau

Cass (Bauer) Bilodeau played basketball at Montana State University from 1990-94 and graduated with a degree in nursing. As a player, she was instrumental in one of the most glorious moments in 1993, when in front of frenzied crowds in Worthington Arena, Montana State beat Montana twice in eight days to win the Big Sky for the first time and advance to the NCAA Tournament. Bilodeau, who remains one of the most successful and decorated players in program history, is the only Bobcat to play in the WNBA, where she played for a pair of playoff teams. She also won an American Basketball League championship and remains the most successful former Big Sky player in American professional women’s basketball. The Hysham native’s legacy, though, is her accomplishments in the Blue and Gold. In addition to her team’s successes, Bilodeau was Kodak Honorable Mention All-American and MSU’s first-ever Big Sky MVP. Bilodeau received her MBA in healthcare management in 2014 and is currently living in Richland, Washington. She is the regional director, outreach, development & telemedicine for Providence St. Joseph Health.
