MSU Study Abroad is seeking returned study abroad students to participate in the Global Ambassador Program. Global Ambassadors will serve as a touchpoint for MSU students learning about studying abroad and help represent MSU Study Abroad around campus.

What Global Ambassadors Do

Global Ambassadors are student leaders who:

  • Participate in outreach events such as Catapalooza and the Study Abroad Fair
  • Give brief presentations about study abroad, including classroom visits and MSU Fridays
  • Participate in tabling at various locations around campus
  • Help with Study Abroad Coffee Hours
  • Attend monthly meetings with study abroad staff

Global Ambassadors are not required to attend all of the above events but are expected to commit8-10 hours per month of tabling/presentations and helpingat 2 study abroad events each semester. We ask that Ambassadors commit to participating for the full academic year with training beginning in early September. 

How to Sign Up

If interested, students can sign up to be considered for the 2026/27 academic year Global Ambassador positions using this microsoft form. Signing up is only a demonstration of interest, and we will not be able to guarantee that every student who applies will be offered the position.

Final submissions are due August 28th,2026 at midnight. Students will be informed if they have been selected in early September.
