MSU Coronavirus Self-Checker
Visit the MSU Student Testing Center for updated testing days and hours.
If you develop emergency warning signs for COVID-19, get medical attention immediately. Please call 911 or go to your nearest Emergency Room. Emergency warning signs may include:
- trouble breathing
- persistent pain or pressure in the chest
- new confusion or inability to arouse
- bluish face or lips
The purpose of the Coronavirus Self-Checker is to help you make decisions about seeking appropriate medical care. This system is not intended for the diagnosis or treatment of disease or other conditions, including COVID-19. This system is intended only for adults who are 18 years and older and currently located in the United States.

- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches

- New loss of taste or smell

- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
No COVID-19 testing needed at this time
Based on the answers you’ve given, you do not need to get tested for COVID-19 at this time.
Monitor for symptoms
Watch for COVID-19 symptoms. If you develop symptoms, call your health care provider, clinician advice line, or telemedicine provider.

Notify the residence assistant on-call for Residence Life at 406-282-4025 - let them know that you are experiencing symptoms consistent with COVID-19.
Until your COVID-19 test, you need to stay isolated and self-quarantine in your apartment, home, or residence hall.
