NTT Faculty Community Building & Wellness Series
The Faculty Community Building & Wellness Series is comprised of 6 wellness gatherings
during the academic year in partnership with MSU Wellness Center/Outdoor Recreation,
Big Sky Ski Resort, and Crosscut Mountain Sports Center. These monthly gatherings
are designed for faculty on non-tenured contracts (NTT) to: build relationships and
community within and across campus departments, increase their sense of belonging
to campus, promote wellness and wellbeing, and provide information about MSU’s Wellness/Outdoor
Recreation offerings available to faculty to continue their wellness journey.
MSU’s NTT faculty community is the largest teaching group on campus and can often feel siloed in their respective departments/colleges. This Wellness series offers an opportunity for relationship and community building to create a stronger sense of belonging to each other and the campus community at large. By placing this relationship and community building in the context of wellness and wellbeing, we can provide transformative settings in collaboration with outdoor/wellness community partners. Hopefully, through participation we can achieve meaningful relationships, stronger sense of belonging, and introduction to new ways to create a wellness and wellbeing path for faculty.
