Celebrating 40 Years of Education, Service, and Partnership

Join us for an inspiring evening honoring four decades of dedication to Montana’s local government leaders. The program will feature a seated dinner, live music, distinguished guest speakers, and special recognitions of those who have shaped our communities.

Date & Time: Thursday, December 11, 2025 | 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Location: Delta Hotels Helena Colonial | 2301 Colonial Dr, Helena, MT 59601

Dress Code: Semi-formal (feel free to add a little Montana flair)

Registration: 

  • Community Access Pass | Free, Donations Welcome
    • All local government officials and staff, state legislators, special districts, MSU representatives, undergraduate and graduate Students, and community organization representatives.

    • This pass includes dinner, a seat at a shared table, and full access to the event.

  • Leadership Circle Invitation | Free, Donations Welcome
    • This designation is intended for people and groups invited to select this option, including the LGC Advisory Committee, Extension Administration, Guest Speakers, Awardees, Education Committees, and Key Partner Organizations.

    • By invitation only, this pass includes dinner, a seat at a shared table, and full access to the event.

Sponsorships:

  • Table Host Package | $750 Sponsorship
    • Sponsor a full table and curate your guest list of up to 8 individuals. Prefer a mix of people? You may choose to fill half your table and allow the remaining seats to be offered to other local leaders and changemakers.
  • Community Partner Package Options: Designed for organizations, foundations, and institutions committed to community impact. These packages offer visibility, engagement, and additional opportunities for meaningful participation in the event.

Local Impact Awards

The Local Impact Awards celebrate individuals whose dedication, leadership, and service have made a meaningful difference in Montana’s local government. These awards highlight the diverse contributions of professionals across roles—from elected officials and administrative staff to behind-the-scenes collaborators—who exemplify excellence in public service.
 

All awards are peer-nominated, ensuring that recognition comes directly from colleagues who witness the impact of these individuals firsthand. The nomination process is designed to be inclusive and accessible, encouraging submissions from across departments and jurisdictions. Each award reflects a unique facet of local government excellence, from visionary leadership and steadfast service to collaboration and justice.

Nominations for awards accepted August 19 - October 15.

Public Leadership Award (Elected Officials) To recognize elected officials who have shown exceptional leadership, vision, and service to their constituents. Peer-Nominated and winner selected by Awards Committee Elected Officials
Justice in Action Award Acknowledges a CDC who goes above and beyond in serving the public, supporting court operations, and upholding the law. Peer-Nominated and winner selected by Awards Committee Clerks of District Court
