Guide to Information and Services for Montana Forest Landowners
Certified Forest Stewardship Advisors
Natural resource professionals who have completed the Montana Forest Stewardship Advisor Training, conducted by MSU Extension Forestry, and served as a Forest Stewardship Workshop instructor achieve the status of certified forest stewardship advisor. All stewardship advisors are experienced in forest stewardship planning and adult education. Certified forest stewardship advisors have professional backgrounds in these fields: forestry, wildlife, range, fisheries, botany, riparian and wetland management, weed management, reclamation, soils, hydrology, and agriculture. Certified stewardship advisors are available to answer a variety of natural resource-related questions and offer professional services to landowners and other organizations across Montana.
