Industrial Forestry Programs

Some companies within the forest products industry offer landowners technical assistance in managing their forest lands. Each company differs in the amount and terms under which assistance is given.  Services provided may include timber management planning, surveying, road building, and slash disposal.  Service may be offered at no direct cost, or costs may be deducted from a stumpage price.  Companies that offer assistance programs often wish to purchase forest products sold from the land.
