National 4-H Conference

National delegates meet in D.C. to increase their knowledge, resources, and skills while they discuss topics affecting youth and 4‑H programming nationwide.

Citizenship

Since its inception, 4-H has placed emphasis on the importance of young people being engaged, well-informed citizens. By connecting to their communities and leaders serving their communities, youth understand their role in civic affairs and expand the role of youth in decision-making processes. It’s clear that civic engagement provides the foundation that helps youth understand the "big picture" of life and find purpose and meaning.

Montana 4-H offers local, national and international citizenship opportunities - Citizenship Seminar held every other year in Helena, Citizenship Washington Focus, Leadership Washington Focus and National Conference held in Washington D.C. every year, and numerous international travel and hosting opportunities.
