Frequently Asked Questions
Will the project cover the costs of taking the PRAXIS ESOL Exam?
Yes. The project will pay the fees for participants to take the PRAXIS exams as well as provide a gas card for $50 to reimburse participants for travel to the test site based on the distance between the school and the nearest test site to the school.
In order to receive two graduate credits for the professional development training, what assignments are required?
In addition to completing the online professional development course, participants must complete two lesson plans that integrate sheltered instruction strategies with their content area methods to receive graduate credit.
Will participants have a choice in receiving graduate credits or CEUs? Yes. Participants completing the online professional development course may elect to earn 30 hours of CEUs or 2 graduate credits. |
