HackerCats
This club exists to build and strengthen the community of students interested in cybersecurity. HackerCats have weekly meetings and balance our time between education, discussion, and practice in a social environment.
We promote positive collaboration and fun to help members prepare for competitions and continued learning.
University of New Haven’s Connecticut Institute of Technology, in collaboration with its Cyber Club, is hosting a 3-day Capture the Flag competition online on April 17 – 19, 2026!
A ton of prizes from sponsors like Offsec, AnyRun, Binary Ninja, Black Hills Information Security, Epiq, IZT Cloud and others, and many in-person giveaways (for local schools who will be visiting on-campus). Challenges will range from introductory to advanced, and will include, but not limited to, digital forensics, OSINT, reverse engineering, cryptographic applications, and more!
