School of Art BFA Thesis Show

Details: BFA Studio Art graduates will have their graduation and capstone projects on display beginning on April 21. A celebratory reception will be held on May 8. 

 

Graphic Design Friends & Family BFA Celebration

Date:  Thursday, May 8

Time:  5 – 7 p.m.

Place:  Zoot Art Gallery – 555 Zoot Enterprises Lane

Details:  Join in celebrating 36 talented MSU seniors in the Graphic Design BFA program on Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Zoot Art Gallery. During this exhibition, seniors' digital portfolios will be displayed with an exhibition of canvas prints and custom take-away gifts created by each senior. This all-ages event is free and open to the public. Light snacks will be served with a no-host bar available.

 

Richard Helzer Bronze Pencil Awards

Time:  3 – 4 p.m.

Details: Students, family, and friends are invited to attend the Richard Helzer Bronze Pencil Award ceremony. These awards are given to the top students in the School of Art.

 

School of Film & Photography Science & Natural History Filmmaking Screening

Date:  Tuesday, May 6

Time:  6:30 p.m.

Place:   The Rialto, 10 W Main St.

Details: Feature films from 1st, 2nd, and thesis’ year MFA graduate students. Open and free to the public.

 

School of Film & Photography Senior Film Screening & Paul Monaco Awards

Date: Thursday, May 8

Time:  Doors open at 4 p.m.; screening at 5 p.m.; photo exhibition opens at 7 p.m.

Place:   Emerson Center for the Arts & Culture

Details: Senior film and photography students will share their capstone projects at this event free and open to the public. In addition, the Paul Monaco Awards will be given to the school’s outstanding students.
