Area Businesses Subject of International Case Studies

Sitki KarahanThe Montana Power Company of Butte, Wheat Montana Farms and Bakery of Three Forks, ILX Lightwave Corporation and Lattice Materials Corporation of Bozeman have been the subject of separate case studies published in the Journal of the International Academy for Case Studies by Dr. R. Sitki Karahan, Associate Professor of Marketing at MSU-Bozeman.

The cases explore the global business potential of these local businesses and have been written as pedagogical tools for classroom usage. R. Sitki Karahan, PhD, of the College of Business at MSU-Bozeman, who conducted the studies, is also the author of a developing theory on firm globalization, which is published in two parts in the International Journal of Management under the title Towards an Eclectic Theory of Firm Globalization.
