Joseph Wells Coming to Campus in April
The David B. Orser Executive Speakers Forum is a College of Business program designed to sponsor bringing guest presenters to campus who are dedicated to excellence and who have a proven record of professional achievement. For Spring 2002 we have scheduled two outstanding speakers of national prominence.
Joseph T. Wells, chairman and founder of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners will speak in late April. Wells is widely known in accounting and business communities as the leading national expert on fraud. Broadly published in the field, he is often seen on national news programs (60 Minutes, 20/20, Nightline) commenting on high profile fraud cases.
On April 25, Wells will make a presentation to local and regional CPAs, CFEs, faculty, law enforcement personnel and other interested business professionals from 1 - 3 p.m. in the Great Room of the Alumni Foundation Center, 1501 South 11th. He will also present a guest lecture to undergraduate business students, faculty and the public from 4:10 - 5 p.m. in Reid Hall room 103.
On April 26, Mr. Wells will visit selected graduate and undergraduate accounting classes.
