Andrew Hull

Andrew Hull, president and founder of Elixiter, a local marketing services agency, will serve as the Montana State University (MSU) Jake Jabs College of Business & Entrepreneurship (JJCBE)’s fall Entrepreneur-in-Residence. As part of this event, he will give a free public lecture at 6:15 p.m., Wednesday, October 29, in Reid Hall 108.

Traditionally, business operations are a closed-book affair, only open to select senior managers. In Hull’s presentation, “High Growth Start-Ups: Why Transparency With Prospects, Customers, Employees, and Stakeholders is the Secret Sauce for Today's Successful Entrepreneurs,” he will talk about why providing transparency into your business drives increased sales, loyal customers, engaged employees, and trust from stakeholders. He will also discuss the philosophy, methods, and tools Elixiter utilizes to drive profitability and triple digit growth rates.

As Entrepreneur-In-Residence for the week of October 26, Hull will also visit many JJCBE business classes ranging from the freshman seminar to 400-level marketing courses, as well as students in the entrepreneurship program, throughout the week.

Hull is a veteran of business-to-business marketing and software-as-a-service (SaaS) space models. As a passionate business technologist, Andrew is leading Elixiter to deliver on the promise of high impact marketing automation. Prior to founding Elixiter, he served in a wide range of functions at RightNow Technologies (acquired by Oracle) overseeing product messaging, campaigns, web properties, marketing automation, events, and marketing analytics which helped drive eight years of continual growth from $16 million to $200+ million in revenue.

Many organizations have honored Hull over the years. He was a finalist for the Montana Excellence in Leadership Award (ELA), sponsored by the Interagency Committee for Change by Women (ICCW) of Montana. Hull was the 2013 Prospera Business Network Entrepreneur of the Year, and a finalist for the Employer of the Year award sponsored by the Bozeman Business and Professional Women (BPW) network.

Andrew holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and is a native of Montana.
