Annual WCOE Conference to be Held May 8 in Bozeman
The MSU Jake Jabs College of Business & Entrepreneurship (JJCBE) will host the 7th annual Women’s Circle of Excellence (WCOE) conference on Thursday, May 8, at Riverside Country Club, in Bozeman.
The WCOE conference helps develop women’s professional and personal success. The conference will include these sessions: “Putting Your Best Foot Forward,” with Jessi Smith, MSU associate professor; “Harnessing the Power of Technology,” with Maclaren Latta of MercuryCSC; and a panel titled “Learning from Experience: Success Stories,” featuring Chelsea Hecht, Maria Holden, Peggy Jennings, Jackie Sather and Kate Wiggins.
Tamra Chandler, founding partner and CEO of PeopleFirm, LLC will give the keynote presentation, “Authenticity: Being Your Best by Being True to Yourself,” at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday, May 8. Chandler will share her story and give us advice on how to find your authentic self, harness its powers and empower yourself to develop your professional identity, enhance your leadership power and build a strong supportive network.
Conference registration is $55, which includes educational sessions, event materials, networking reception, hors d’oeuvres and silent auction. Proceeds from the silent auction help fund a WCOE scholarship. Up to 5.4 continuing professional education credits for certified public accountants are available.
