Finance Club
The Finance Club is a student run organization within the Jake Jabs College of Business & Entrepreneurship (JJCBE). The mission of the Club is to create connections between finance students, faculty, and professionals while promoting finance related activities that help inform and prepare students for a career in the financial sector.
Benefits
There are many benefits to joining the Finance Club, as it provides ample opportunities
to network with peers, professors, and business professionals. It allows students
to learn about the finance industry first-hand, with an annual trip to the financial
hub of the world, NYC, and from numerous guest speakers. The Club provides the tools
necessary to be successful in today’s competitive business environment.
How to Join
It is easy to join, just start attending club meetings. Meeting times can be found
on the Finance Club at MSU Facebook page or within the Jabs weekly newsletter. Meetings
typically occur on Tuesdays from 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Additionally, the contacts listed

Other Functions
The Finance Club has social events such as a student-faculty club mixer at the start
of each semester and a community involvement activity.
Every year the Finance Club travels to New York City to tour America’s most prestigious
financial institutions. On previous trips, we have visited firms such as Morgan Stanley,
Standard & Poor’s, BlackRock, Barclays, the New York Federal Reserve Bank, the New
York Stock Exchange, the NASDAQ, and Citigroup, to name a few.
