The Ties between Program Assessment and Our Strategic Plan

The relationship between program assessment and strategic plan goals

Continuous Improvement via program assessment is an example of faculty-directed tie-ins that lead to reaching the goals of our strategic plan. Program Assessment ties to opportunity for improved student learning.  Improved student learning ties to student confidence and motivation in learning and persistence. Student persistence ties to graduation.  Student Persistence and Graduation are encompassed in just one of the stated goals in our Choosing Promise strategic plan.  Faculty are a part of Planning Council which provides oversight and advice to the President on the strategic plan processes. What other continuous improvement processes and self-study are you involved in that ‘tie-in’ to help us achieve our strategic goals?
