Civil Engineering – B.S. in Civil Engineering
Students in the Civil Engineering program at Montana State learn how to design and build the big things that society relies on: roads, bridges, buildings, water treatment plants and more. Whether touring a construction site during class or working with a professor on research to make new kinds of high-strength concrete, Civil Engineering students are afforded a variety of opportunities to develop skills that will serve them in positions in construction, transportation, structural engineering and more.

many of our graduates.
Goldwater Scholars
Montana State is the Top 3 in the West, after Stanford and Cal Tech, in recipients

Hands-On Learning
With the capstone senior design project, engineering students work in teams to help

Additionally, the Allen Yarnell Center for Student Success offers free workshops for students to develop the professional communication and collaboration skills that are highly sought after by employers.
