1. Call to Order

   President Cruzado called meeting to order at 8:30am. 
   
   
2. Approval of Minutes for November 1, 2023 
   
   Terry Leist moved to approve minutes; Dean Isle-Mari Lee seconded. The minutes were approved unanimously.
   
   
3. University Wide Information/Annoucements
   
   President Cruzado shared her gratitude to Dean Dan Miller and Dean Kristof Zaba as they depart their roles.  Dan Miller will transition to Dean of International Programs and Global Engagement in January 2024.
   
   
4. Public Comment
   
   There were no public comment offered.

   1. Conflict of Interest Policy Revision

      There was no additional feedback. The policy was approved unanimously.
      
      

6. Informational Items
    
   1. Sunsetting duplicate Workplace Violence Prevention Policy
      Justin Arndt, Chief Compliance Officer
      
      There were two similar policies in both University Police Department and University Human Resources. This will now streamline the policy to be housed in University Human Resources.
      
   2. Administrative updates to existing policies

      Minor non-substantive edits made for clarity.
      
7. Updates
   
   

   President Cruzado presented a comprehensive 2023 Year in Review of Montana State University.

   Campus executives shared around the table updates.

   The meeting adjourned at 9:26am.

NOTE:  The next University Council meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, January 10, 2024, from 8:30 AM – 10:00 AM in SUB, Room 235.
