Meet the Study Abroad Team

Stacey Neve is the Study Abroad Program Manager for the Office of International Programs. She oversees incoming and outgoing study abroad programs. Stacey is the advisor for incoming exchange students and helps support MSU students through the study abroad process. 

Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Stacey earned her BA in Political Science from Tulane University. In addition to studying abroad in Italy during undergrad, she spent several years teaching in Spain, Peru, Honduras, and Tunisia. All of those experiences had a profound impact on her life, and she is enthusiastic about facilitating international experiences for others.

Stacey is currently working on a Master of Public Administration at MSU. When she gets a break from work and school, she is an avid reader, hiker, and baker.

Toby helps to coordinate group and faculty-led study abroad programs at Montana State. He has served as Operations Manager and Assistant to the Vice Provost for Student Success at MSU, as well as Assistant Director for Multicultural Student Programs and Services at the University of Notre Dame. Once, Toby fell out of a window and broke his left elbow during a firefighter training exercise. Despite his injury, Toby went on to receive the Ibn Battuta Award for Anthropology and the Sheikh Ahmed Zaki Yamani Scholarship for Arabic Studies in Morocco from Kansas State University. Toby attended Graduate School at Notre Dame to study Ancient Near East Languages and Literature and worked abroad at the Iron Age II archaeological site, Khirbet Qeiyafa, during which one of the oldest proto-Hebrew inscribed ostraca was discovered. Toby has owned and managed an independent craft liquor distributor for eight years. He lives in Bozeman with a sociologist, an archer, and a dog named, Jack.

Jessie is responisble for all aspects of MSU International Travel Compliance.

Jessie joined the Office of International Programs in January 2023. Born in England, Jessie moved to Plymouth, MA in 2001. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Public Relations with a minor in Education Studies at Suffolk University and her master’s degree in Global Studies and International Relations at Northeastern University, both in Boston. Her international education experience led her to the American College of Thessaloniki in Greece where she studied abroad in undergrad and worked at during her masters. A lifetime of international experiences has helped Jessie to mold the belief that international education is essential and should be made accessible to all students. Outside of work Jessie enjoys reading, singing, and hanging out with her puppy.
