Preferred Role: |
Director/Producer, but I also have a specialty in camera, editing and animation |
Current Projects: |
I'm the Producer for www.thewildclassroom.com and organizing film projects on the web to be shown to schools and classrooms. |
Past Film Topics: |
My past student films relate almost entirely to something useful for biologists in presentations. Teaches and college professors should be able to use my topics in class. For instance, I created a website on world biomes for my second year thesis: http://www.thewildclassroom.com/biomes/index.html.
For my first year thesis I did a webpage and video on on the World's deadliest snakes http://www.thewildclassroom.com/biodiversity/snakes/main/deadly.html |
Awards/Festivals: |
I was a finalist at the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival for my work with the Ecogeeks Podcast www.thewildclassroom.com. |
Future Goals: |
After the program I plan to continue work creating educational videos that target school kids. I feel this is the most important market to affect change in society. If I can get them excited about science, they'll become life long learners which will effect the way our society operates. |
