Currently starting thesis and working on a film about local food politics; a new documentary about the journey of a Cheyenne woman to Mali, West Africa and her reflections on the role technology and tradition play in Cheyenne and Malian culture. |
Past Film Topics: |
Produced a 30-minute program for MontanaPBS called "Homefront: United or Divided", which featured four Montanans' unique roles during WWII.
"The Water Carriers": A MSU student works with Engineers Without Borders to bring clean drinking water to more than 1,000 school children in Kenya and learns from a woman in the village what it's like to be a water carrier.
"Speaking White Clay": Join students, parents and teachers at the While Clay Language Immersion school in Harlem, Montana as they fight back to reclaim their native language, blending traditional Indian ways with contemporary Euro-American culture.
"Bison bison": Go into the field with hunters, activists, and park agents as they search for common ground during Montana's controversial bison hunt.

I've started my own production company, Partnership Productions, and plan to work as an independent producer.
My goal is to use media to raise awareness on social issues and conservation work at the grassroots level. |
